Who Is Dr. Sinan Akyürek?

Hello, I am Dr. Sinan Akyürek. I work in medical aesthetics. I was born in Bursa in 1980. My curiosity about the sciences is what brought me to medicine. I went to high school as a boarding student at Kadıköy Anadolu Lisesi. I graduated from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2004, then did an MBA at Bahçeşehir University. I completed a Master of Aesthetic Medicine in Italy. I hold Ministry of Health-approved certificates in hair transplantation and in aesthetic and cosmetic procedures. I am a Global Trainer for Gloderm Filler and the GCell Stem Cell Kit.

I started out as an emergency physician. Later I also worked on the management side of medicine. I was a manager at Medline, and at private hospitals I held posts such as Deputy Medical Director and International Projects and Project Development Manager. I was a lecturer at Acıbadem University. In 2012 I turned to medical aesthetics and healthy-living coaching at Dora Hospital. That is where I realised this was the work I really loved. I went on to work at Dermatec, Academic Hospital, Esteticium, Etiler AquaMedi and British Aesthetic.

At my clinic we offer skin rejuvenation (mesotherapy, exosome), facial aesthetics (botox, fillers, liquid facelift), hair transplant and regional slimming. I have done pioneering work in Turkey with treatments such as Vampire Facelift, O-Shot, P-Shot, Acell, Autologous Tissue Suspension and Mesenchymal Stem Cells. I also bring in complementary medicine, such as ozone therapy, hypnotherapy, hirudotherapy and cupping, together with advice on nutrition. I do this because smoking, sun, a poor diet, lack of sleep and inactivity all make the skin age faster.

I see aesthetics as the natural beauty of a healthy body. People have become afraid of overdone filler and botox. Most of those who come to me want to look fresher and more alive, even if their age still shows a little. That is what I aim for with minimally invasive methods. To date I have treated more than 16,000 patients.
