Kamilane PLA
What Is It?
Because PLA is in the name, patients often assume Kamilane PLA is a tightening treatment. In fact it is a combined skinbooster protocol. According to the product information, it contains 40 mg PLA together with glutathione, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, PDRN and plant extracts. You can think of PDRN as a molecule we might call the essence of salmon DNA.
The PLA proportion here is kept low, and the weight is on even tone and hydration. In protocols with a high PLA proportion, our aim is structural firmness. With Kamilane PLA our priority is the colour of the skin and its surface appearance, and firmness comes second. Which one we choose depends on whether the complaint lies on the colour side or the structural side.

How Is It Done?
First we work out where the uneven tone comes from. Is the darkness from the sun, is it what remains after a mark or a scar, or is it vascular? We do not choose the content before making that distinction. After a topical anaesthetic cream, we deliver the product with a fine needle into the superficial layer of the skin, through points spread across the area. We can also treat the neck and décolleté. The procedure takes about 15 minutes, and the reported plan is 1-2 sessions.
Who Is It For?
It suits patients whose skin looks dull, who are bothered by uneven tone and scattered colour on the surface, and who also want hydration support in the same session. In dark, deep pigmentation it is not enough on its own, and we assess the type of pigmentation separately.
Because the content includes glutathione, vitamin C and plant extracts, we ask about known sensitivities beforehand. Pregnancy and breastfeeding, an active acne flare or infection in the area, bleeding disorders and uncontrolled immune disease change the timing of the treatment.

A sense of hydration and freshness begins in the first days. The difference in tone becomes visible as the sessions add up, on average within three to four weeks. Sun protection affects this period directly; if you stop protecting your skin, the scattered colour comes back sooner.

Kamilane PLA is not a pigmentation treatment. It does not lighten deep or hormone-related pigmentation, does not permanently change skin colour and does not replace sun protection. It also adds no volume, does not do the job of a filler and does not tighten sagging skin. We cannot promise a particular tone, degree of lightening or duration.
