Swanny Exosome

What Is It?

With Swanny exosome we work with exosomes obtained from umbilical cord connective tissue. With exosomes, the raw material a product is made from is a separate choice. This product belongs to the group outside the plant-sourced family, and the difference in source directly affects how the protocol is built. The number of sessions, the interval and the dose change with the source. With this product we usually prefer a single-session structure, whereas most plant-sourced protocols are planned as a series.

When I explain what exosomes do, I compare stem cells to a commander. The commander sends orders to the surrounding cells through exosomes. The order tells the cells in the tissue, “you’re doing it wrong, drop your old habits, from now on we work like this.” Because it takes time for the cells to start working according to this order, the change spreads over weeks. We decide at examination which source suits whom, together with the condition of the skin and allergy history.

How Is It Done?

We run the examination under two headings. First we look at what support the skin needs, then we choose the source. With this product, the question of source carries a particular sensitivity. Some of my patients express a personal or faith-related reservation about products derived from animal or human tissue. We always ask about this and reflect it in the plan exactly as given; if there is a reservation, we look at plant-sourced options.

We apply numbing cream beforehand. We deliver the product into the superficial layer of the skin with fine needles, through evenly spaced points. A session takes about 30 minutes on average. We usually plan a single session and discuss at the later assessment whether a repeat is needed.

Who Is It For?

We consider it for patients whose skin looks tired and lifeless and who prefer a single-session protocol over a series. For a patient who finds it hard to come in for a series of sessions and can’t make frequent visits, this structure is a practical option.

On its own it won’t meet the expectation where there is marked volume loss, deep lines or advanced sagging. Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active infection or an inflamed lesion in the treatment area, a bleeding disorder, uncontrolled autoimmune disease and a known allergy to the product’s contents change the plan. If you have a personal or faith-related reservation about the product’s source, we talk about it openly at examination and look at another source.

Process & Recovery

  1. Examination and source decision

We assess your skin and choose the source together with your own preference and allergy history. We set the dose at this stage and take photographs.

  2. Session day

Once the numbing cream has taken effect, we apply the product through the planned points in a single session. The session takes about 30 minutes on average, and you go back to your daily life the same day.

  3. First 24-48 hours

Redness, tenderness and small bumps appear at the injection points, and bruising is possible. We don’t recommend make-up, pools, sauna or strenuous exercise on the same day.

  4. Weeks 2-6

The change in the skin appears gradually during this period. A single-session structure needs patience; an early assessment is misleading.

  5. Assessment

We assess the result about two months after treatment by comparing photographs. This is where we discuss whether a repeat is needed.

Results & Duration

With a single-session structure, the effect follows a slower course, spread over a longer time than with series protocols. The change appears gradually over weeks 2-6, and we make the assessment after about two months.

The reported duration for this product is longer than for some exosome protocols; this difference comes from the way it is structured. The response varies markedly with the starting condition of the skin, the dose applied and the person.

What Is Not Promised

You won’t gain volume with this treatment; deep lines won’t fill and sagging won’t be gathered. It shouldn’t be thought of as a solution for pigmentation either, and it doesn’t take the place of sun protection.

Being cord-derived does not in itself make it superior; we choose the source according to what suits the person. I can’t promise a particular skin appearance or duration. Since the dose varies from person to person, comparing yourself with someone else’s result would be misleading.

Key Benefits

  • Renewal support
  • Cord-derived exosome
  • Skin quality

“With exosomes the cell has to start working first; we don’t see anything clear before a few renewal cycles have passed. In a single-session protocol, the patient who gives up in the first two weeks misses the period when the real change arrives.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Swanny exosome derived from?

We apply it with exosomes obtained from umbilical cord connective tissue. With exosomes, the source is a separate choice, independent of the area treated.

How does it differ from a plant-sourced exosome?

The difference is in the raw material, and it shows in how the protocol is built. The number of sessions, the interval and the dose change with the source; with this product we usually plan a single session.

How many sessions are needed?

Usually a single session. We discuss whether a repeat is needed at the assessment about two months later.

When will I see the result?

The change appears gradually over weeks 2-6; we make the assessment after about two months.

How much is applied?

Even in a single-session structure the dose isn’t fixed; we set it according to the condition of your skin and the product. The amount used on someone else is no measure for you.

I have a reservation about the source — is there an alternative?

Yes. If you have a personal or faith-related reservation, just tell us at examination; we then look at plant-sourced products.

Is it painful?

Apart from a brief stinging, it usually goes comfortably. We apply numbing cream beforehand, and the needles are very fine.

Which situations need separate assessment?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active infection or an inflamed lesion in the area, a bleeding disorder, uncontrolled autoimmune disease and allergy to the product’s contents change the plan. We discuss these at examination.
